Comment on Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) Amendments

October 26 – November 8, 2022, the Corvallis Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) requests public input on two amendments to the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2021-24 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The following changes will be made to the FFY2021-24 STIP:

K22985: Northwest Oregon 2024-2027 ADA curb ramp design, phase 1 (Amendment Number 21-24-2749)

  • Project Description: Design for future construction of curb ramps to meet compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Total statewide cost: $22,000,000 (total statewide)
  • Amendment Description: Add a new project, moving ADA program funds from the FFY2024-2027 STIP

K22742: US20 from I-101 to the Idaho Border (Amendment Number 21-24-2650)

  • Project Description: Establish National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) fast charging stations every 50 miles along US 20 from I-101 to the Idaho border, to provide electric vehicle drivers with reliable, fast charging along major corridors in Oregon
  • Amendment Description: Add a new National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure project

The CAMPO Technical Advisory Committee will review the changes at the October 27, 2022 meeting and the Policy Board will review at the November 9, 2022 meeting.
