Transportation planning methods require the use of data from a variety of sources.  CAMPO collects and utilizes a variety of data related to land use, local demographics, traffic, transportation systems, and household travel behavior.  Because these data underline our planning process and decisions, making as much of it available to the public as possible is an important part of making planning more transparent.

The MPO uses the data it collects to better understand current travel patterns, transportation infrastructure needs, and also to project how different future transportation systems might meet our future travel needs.
