NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD Title VI Nondiscrimination and Environmental Justice Plan

July 15 – August 14, 2024; the Corvallis Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) requests public input on a proposed Title VI Nondiscrimination and Environmental Justice Plan. The Plan details CAMPO’s commitment to ensuring that no person shall – on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability or income status – be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity conducted by the organization. The Plan is being jointly adopted with the Albany Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO). This allows the two governments to share resources while fostering greater collaboration between the communities that make up our region. The Plan is being considered for adoption at July 12th joint meeting between the two metropolitan planning organizations. Public comment received will be presented to both of the policy boards that oversee the organizations, and the Plan will be amended to reflect public comment received.
