Public Involvement
Active public involvement is a key component of an MPO’s continuing, cooperative and comprehensive planning effort. As such, the Corvallis Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) Policy Board regards public participation as an integral part of the MPO’s transportation planning and programming activities.
CAMPO’s public involvement activities are directed by the Public Participation Plan (PPP) and the Title VI Plan. The Public Participation Plan describes methods, strategies, and desired outcomes for public participation, addressing outreach to a broad audience of interested parties. The PPP outlines the policies and procedures adopted by the CAMPO Policy Board for involving the general public in the MPO's transportation decision-making processes.
