Comment on Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) Amendments

From March 13 – March 27, 2024, the Corvallis Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) requests public input on one amendment to the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2024-27 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The following changes (Full Amendments) are proposed:

 

K21964: Enhanced Mobility Program – Benton County FFY22 (Amendment Number 24-27-0866)

Project Description: Enhanced mobility small urban program funding to improve transportation services to the special needs, seniors, and other transit-dependent populations in rural areas.

Amendment Description: Increase project estimate by $76,739 to match the FTA grant/allocation amount.

Amendment Cost: $76,739

 

K22728: Curve warning upgrades (Clatsop, Lincoln & Polk Counties) (Amendment Number 24-27-0855)

Project Description: Complete design to install warning signs at curves on the following highway segments to aid in reducing vehicle collisions.

Amendment Description: Add scope and funds from the ARTS program. Dollar amount reflects costs for the three counties.

Amendment Cost: $529,423

 

K23029: Northwest Oregon 2024-2027 ADA curb ramp design, phase 2 (Amendment Number 24-27-0861)

Project Description: Design for future construction of curb ramps to meet compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

Amendment Description: Split work from one project into two or more projects. Transferring $2,710,000 from the PE phase of K23029 (funds reserve) to the PE phase of K22985. A full amendment is required due to splitting funds from a reserve. The amendment type needs to remain a “historical correction” so K22985 isn’t added to the current STIP. Amendment impacts CLMPO, SKATS and CAMPO .

K21964: Enhanced Mobility Program – Benton County FFY22 (Amendment Number 24-27-0866)

Project Description: FTA grant program 5307 funds for fixed route operations of Corvallis Transit System to improve traffic flow.

Amendment Description: Adjusting to reflect current FTA allocations.

Amendment Cost: -$40,492 (reduction from STIP)
